We have recently added Jonkheer Z to our list of preferred stallions.
A local Woodside favorite, he has taken his young amateur rider, a neighbor, to the World Cup Finals twice, placing 11th first time at that level in 2013. This is a big, beautiful, kind horse that is correct, scopey and amazingly sound. At World Cup 2015 he had no trouble with the tough courses that challenged more seasoned horses and riders. He had a rail losing a shoe, twice, jogged sound and finished just out of the last round. He went home to place fourth in a big Grand Prix a few weeks later against a few of the same rivals, and polished off the summer with a 4th in the Queen Elizabeth Cup at Spruce Meadows.
He has a few lovely foals that are also super movers. We think he is a great match for the light, quick mares we have, and are delighted that Zara foaled in 2016.

Our Zara Jonny colt Jetson lives up to expectations with a combination of the best features of his parents. Big boned and a great mover. Beautiful wide set eyes. Jumping not a problem as demonstrated by his disregard for the 5 ft 3" fence around his field.
